Why there is a tower entirely filled with clocks is a mystery. The ticking sound is somewhat overwhelming for the unprepared. Big ones, small ones, all styles and shapes. Under the stairs. In this case the closet is under the stairs that lead up towards the alchemy labs. A number of passageways lead off from the main quad deeper into the University and despite the variable nature of University geography the Quad is usually a good place to start when finding your way around.
